Testing Facilities for Filter Driers

Drying Capacity Test

This test is performed to determine the amount of moisture present in the refrigerant that a liquid line filter drier
can hold during its operation.

Flow Capacity Test

The flow capacity test is to determine the refrigerant flow through the liquid line filter drier at a 1 psig pressure drop.

Filtration Efficiency & Dirt Retention Test

This test is performed to determine the amount of contamination that a liquid line filter drier can filter & hold within an acceptable pressure drop.

Desiccant Test

Residual Moisture Test

Desiccant plays a vital role in refrigerant drying. This test is conducted to ensure no filter drier is charged with saturated desiccants during assembly. Using this test the residual moisture present in the Molecular Sieve and Activated Alumina is estimated.

Attrition test

This test is performed to estimate the attrition rate of the loose desiccants.

Testing Facilities for Vessel

Internal Moisture test

This test is performed to check the internal moisture level in the product

Vibration Test for Joints Reliability

This test is performed to test the reliability of the joints against system vibrations.

Ball and Needle Reliability Test for Oil Separator

This test is performed to determine the operational life of the float & needle mechanism which plays a vital role in oil return from the oil separator.

Thermal Cyclic Test

This test is performed to test the ability of mechanically attached fittings (MAFs) to withstand changes in temperature while being pressurized to the maximum working pressure.

Burst Pressure Test

This test is performed for all products to validate the strength of the product to withstand the five times maximum working pressure.

Other Important Test

Salt Spray Test

This test is performed to estimate the salt spray life of powder-coated products.

Cyclic Corrosion Test

This method is to examine the reliability of powered coating against a corrosive atmosphere. Harsh conditions such as saline (salty) environment, excessive rain conditions, high humidity and dry environment are created inside the chamber to check for corrosive resistance properties of the powder coating on the coated surface.

Refrigeration Test Rig

The Dry All R&D Centre has built a testing facility to test all Dry All products which can replicate almost all conditions ranging between 3.5 Ton to 8 Ton of cooling capacity.

Tests Performed on Refrigeration Test Rig:-

  1. Pressure Drops across the product.
  2. Oil separator efficiency test.
  3. Accumulator Heat Exchanger Performance.
  4. Cooling Capacity of Co-axial/Shell & Tube / PHE Evaporator.
  5. Sight Glass/Moisture indicator paper test.

Pressure Cycle Test

This test establishes for testing the performance characteristics required for mechanically attached fittings (MAFs) used in refrigeration systems circuits.

Set-ups to Test Packaging Strength

Transport Vibration Test

This test is performed to check the strength of the shipping box and the protection of its interior packing and the products.

Drop Test

This test is performed to check the strength of the packaging box.
